Teach your children good savings habits
Tyndall Federal wants to help you teach your children (and grandchildren) about money and financial responsibility, and show them how to build a strong foundation for their future.
We even have our own spokesreptile, Ty, the Tyndall Turtle. Why a turtle? Well, turtles have a philosophy about life that also applies to saving. According to popular turtle lore, "slow and steady wins the race." In other words, by saving money on a regular basis - even in small amounts - your kids are guaranteed winners in the long run.
Whether your kids earn by doing chores, or receive money as a gift, we encourage them to put some of it into a savings account. Although they can certainly spend some of the money they earn, it is a good idea to get into the habit of saving first.
With their own savings account, your children have the perfect opportunity to learn first-hand about the importance of managing their money. Start them on the right path early. Open a savings account for your children today.
If you have any questions about these accounts, please visit one of our branches, or contact our Call Center at 850-769-9999 (888-896-3255, toll-free).
