Skip an April loan payment

 

Our Skip-A-Payment program is here, just in time for tax season!

Need to pay taxes this year? Or, do you just want a little extra spending money?

Ask to skip your Tyndall loan payment(s) for the month of April. Skip-A-Payment is available on most Tyndall loans*, so you may decide to skip one or all of your loan payments due for the month.

Best of all, there's no catch:

  • No fees.
  • No penalties.
  • No paperwork.
  • No damage to your credit score.

Remember, the Skip request is for your April payment, so you must make your March payment before requesting to skip April's. To submit your Skip request:

Have your member number handy and let us know which loan payment(s) (loan suffix) you want to skip. A Tyndall employee will review your loan and make any necessary changes to your loan's due date. Once your request is approved, you will receive an email confirmation (assuming we have a valid email address for you).

Important note: If you have your loan payment automatically scheduled through Online Banking/Bill Pay at Tyndall or any other financial institution, please click here for more information. The credit union may or may not be able to edit or cancel your scheduled payments on your behalf.

Skip-A-Payment FAQs


*Excluding home equity and mortgage loans, mobile home loans, workout loans, business loans, ARK loans, and student loans. Offer subject to approval. All loans must be current to qualify. Only the April 2017 payment may be skipped. A loan’s first payment is not eligible for Skip-A-Payment. If you choose to skip a payment, interest will continue to accrue on your loan and it will take longer to repay the loan. On each eligible Tyndall loan, you may only skip a loan payment two (2) times per calendar year, even though the Skip-A-Payment program may be offered more often throughout the year. If you have elected GAP coverage, you may only skip a payment 2 times per contract. Your accounts must be in good standing in order for you to be eligible for the Skip-A-Payment program. Membership may not show a bankruptcy on file. Membership required; an initial $1 non-refundable membership fee will apply.
